Sakura Ridge Hood River

This is a memory maker- and one of the most luxe stays I’ve experienced in Oregon. I felt quite honored to stay at this gorgeous 5 bedroom Bed and Breakfast with not one but two sets of newlyweds ✨

So, that really sets the scene for how special this B & B is- set on a rolling hill above Hood River. The farm has been bearing fruit since the 1880s- when an apple orchard was first planted.

Now, a Century later you can have farm to table breakfast with jams, biscuits, eggs, and mushrooms- among many other local delights deliciously prepared on site.

Fresh juices, coffee, tea, naturally flavored water- and talk of the day’s adventures. Each morning was bright and inspiring.

The Hood River Fruit is minutes away- I spent the day meandering from farm to farm to see what I can find during fall harvest. Apples, lavender, and pears were abundant. The smell of Fall was everywhere in the air, leaves, and the last of summers flowers.

I also ventured down into Hood River to wander some shops and get some Chai tea. The weather is a bit drizzly this time of year so I retired back to my soaking tub and Mountain View just as quickly as I could.

My room was like a private spa suite- perfect for tea, quiet reflection and a new start in life. ❤️
